Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, handed over 59 kidnap victims to the Kaduna State Government on Tuesday in a brief ceremony in Abuja.
The victims, rescued along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway from various parts of Kaduna State, include 28 women, 24 men, and six children, although one victim remains hospitalized.
Speaking to journalists after the handover, Ribadu reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to securing the release of any other captives still held by kidnappers.
