Donald Trump's running mate Mike Pence said Saturday he was "offended" by the Republican presidential nominee's lewd remarks about women and could not defend them.
Donald Trump’s running mate Mike Pence said Saturday he was “offended” by the Republican presidential nominee’s lewd remarks about women and could not defend them.
“I do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them,” Pence said in a statement, adding that Trump’s Sunday night debate with White House rival Hillary Clinton was an opportunity “to show what is in his heart.”
