Addressing the gathering, the senator emphasised her passion for grassroots development and economic inclusion, noting that empowering women is key to sustaining growth in rural communities.
“This initiative reflects my commitment to ensuring that women, irrespective of location, are given the tools to thrive economically and support their families,” she stated.
Her Chief Press Secretary, Arogbonlo Israel, in a statement on Friday, indicated that the programme aligns with the senator’s broader vision of fostering entrepreneurship, skills acquisition, and sustainable economic growth for women and youth across Nigeria.
According to the statement, community leaders, women groups, and stakeholders present at the event lauded Akpoti-Uduaghan’s efforts, describing the initiative as a life-changing intervention.
