Teenage ‘native doctor’ fatally shoots client while testing bulletproof charm

A 19-year-old self-proclaimed native doctor in Onumu Community, Àkókò-Edo Local Council, Edo State, has allegedly shot and killed a client while testing a bulletproof charm.

The victim, Alex Ezekiel, had approached the suspect seeking protection against gun and machete attacks. After preparing the charm, the suspect reportedly used a gun to test its effectiveness, fatally injuring Ezekiel.

Ezekiel was rushed to Ifejola Hospital in Igarra but was pronounced dead by medical personnel. Edo State Police Command spokesperson, SP Moses Joel Yamu, confirmed the incident and stated that the suspect will face prosecution when investigations are completed.
