Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, yesterday, refuted claims by some party members that he has sidelined old members of the party in the affairs of the state.
Former Commissioner for Works and Transport, Paul Okorie, and some All Progressives Congress (APC), stakeholders, had accused Umahi’s administration of sidelining members of the old APC in the state.
Their claim came after the governor endorsed the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Francis Nwifuru, as his successor.
Umahi, in a statement in Abakaliki, through his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Francis Nwaze, said that the claim is false.
