Zamfara federal lawmaker empowers farmers with motorcycles, othersMember of the House of Representatives, representing the Gummi/Bukkuyum federal constituency in Zamfara State, Hon. Sulaiman Abubakar Gumi has donated water pumping machines and motorcycles to fàrmers in Gummi and Bukkuyum local government areas of the State.

 

During the distribution event, Hon. Sulaiman Gumi stated that this initiative aims at enhancing agricultural activities and improve the socioeconomic conditions of his constituents.

 

Represented by Alhaji Lauwali Garba (Chuwa), the APC Chairman of Gummi local government area, Hon. Gummi indicated that the motorcycles provided to the party’s ward chairmen and various community members are intended to assist them in their daily activities and facilitate the execution of party operations.

 

Alh. Garba also explained that, last week Hon. Sulaiman Gummi distributed fertilizer worth millions of Naira to farmers in his constituency at no cost in order to improve agricultural productivity for the development of the constituency.

 

He reaffirmed his commitment to exploring additional avenues for advancing the constituency, including the creation of more job opportunities and the employment of the youths within the federal civil service to address unemployment challenges in the community.

 

The federal lawmaker expressed gratitude to the residents of Gummi and Bukkuyum local government areas for their ongoing support and prayers since the beginning of his tenure.

 

He urged them to remain united and collaborate for the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming general elections.
