APC expels Yola chieftain who wanted Buhari dead of COVID 19
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) has ratified the expulsion of the Party’s Caretaker Chairman of Yola South Local Government Area, Adamawa State, Alhaji Sulaiman Adamu.
Adamu had at an APC stakeholders parley in his home state wished the deadly coronavirus kill President Muhammadu Buhari to pave way for the ascension of the Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo to occupy the exalted seat of the presidency.
APC’s Caretaker Secretary, Senator John Akpanudoedehe in a statement disclosed that the decision was based on the recommendations of the 7-member disciplinary committee set up by the Adamawa State Working Committee that probed into the issue.
Stating that Adamu’s expulsion from the party takes immediate effect, the party called on party members to always demonstrate self-discipline and restraint by desisting from acts and utterances that are inimical to the interest of the party.
