
Stakeholders in Jalingo Local Council of Taraba State have pledged unwavering loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and to work collectively towards sustainable development.
Yesterday, at a meeting in Jalingo, the stakeholders emphasised the importance of effective governance and party unity in addressing local challenges and promoting the prosperity of the council and its residents.
The stakeholders expressed gratitude to Governor Agbu Kefas for his visionary leadership and dedication to the state’s development while lauding his appointment of prominent sons and daughters of Jalingo to key positions in his government.
The commendation was also extended to the Executive Chairman of Jalingo Local Council, Aminu Jauro, and the council’s PDP Chairman, Dauda Munkaila, for their commitment to the welfare of the people.
The meeting, which brought together leaders and representatives from across Jalingo, as gathered by The Guardian, served as a platform to discuss common interests and strategies to foster unity, progress and development.
The stakeholders underscored the critical role of collaboration and reaffirmed their support for Kefas and the PDP leadership in delivering impactful governance.
Led by Jauro, the Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in the state, they emphasised the necessity of strengthening ties between government officials, party members, and the community to ensure a stronger, united, and progressive council.
According to them, this renewed pledge of loyalty and commitment to the PDP ideals reflects a shared determination to address local challenges, enhance governance, and improve the people’s well-being.
