Voters in Osun State have defied the pre-election tension that had greeted today’s governorship election.

The Guardian reports that electorate were seen at polling units in Osogbo, Ilesa and Ibokun.

Also, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission recorded early arrival.

Security agents deployed to man polling units were also sighted.

Sensitive materials arrived alongside officials as people were confirming their names on voter register pasted on the units’ walls.
