The Association of Housing Corporations of Nigeria (AHCN) has announced the postponement of a three-day National Workshop and Exhibition on Housing as Veritable Tools for Economic Recovery scheduled to take place in Kaduna .

The postponement was due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the association and its partner, the Kaduna State Development and Property Company Limited.The workshop was targeted at making housing a veritable tool for economic recovery and to provide a forum for careful consideration of the challenges of housing deficit and affordability issues with a view to appropriating workable funding mechanism that will assist to reposition mass housing provision as veritable tools for economic recovery.

The theme of the event was “Tackling Housing Deficit And Affordability Challenge as Channel for Driving Economic Recovery” and participants were expected from the entire housing and construction sector of the economy.
