FMBN commended over NHF disbursement

The Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) recently disbursed over N1.4billion to Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank (formerly GT Homes Limited) under the National Housing Fund (NHF) loan scheme. This, according to report, is for onward disbursements to the beneficiaries under the scheme.

Managing Director, Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank, Mr. Ben Akaneme praised the Federal Mortgage Bank, saying with this disbursement, FMBN is fulfilling its national mandate to promote home ownership. He further affirmed that Imperial Homes aligns itself with this national objective and is willing to do all that is necessary to ensure the success of the scheme.

He also described the disbursement as evidence of the level of confidence the Federal Mortgage Bank has in the bank.He added that Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank could assist active contributors to the scheme to secure the NHF loan up to a maximum of N15 million at an interest rate of six percent per year repayable over a period of 30 years.
