Engineer-turned gospel musician, Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo popularly known as Funmi Ayinke has released another single titled Obinrin remix, an inspirational song on women, featuring Tundetdot of Styleplus.

The new song is a follow-up to the previous Extended Play (EP) titled It is our time, released during the #EndSARS protests. It contains tracks like I can make it, Hallelujah, Olorun Agbaye, Bawa Tun aye wase, and Obinrin, among others.

According to the Ondo-born businesswoman cum philanthropist, the new single portrays the importance of female children in society.

“Obinrin Remix is an inspirational song that preaches the need to put women at the helm of affairs for the social, economic, and political development of any country,” she said.

Produced by Iriemi Ebenezer, the new jam reiterates the call on the government at all levels to focus also on women, as they are special.

Speaking on the message behind the new song, Ayinke said: “The message is meant to tell the society how a good mother and wife can also be the best in the society.”

According to her, the new body of work is an inspirational song that encourages listeners to know that without women the society can never grow, as women are the heartbeats of the world.
