Group to boost Global Recognition for African beauty, fashion models
For almost a decade now, there has been a rise in recognition and appreciation of African beauty and fashion models all over the world, and in a bid to consolidate on the development, Future Face Africa (FFA) has begun a move to discover new ones all over the continent.
According to the group, “Nigeria’s fashion and beauty models are getting the recognition they deserve and now is a good time as ever to discover and export fresh faces to not Africa alone but the world’s biggest stages.”
Future Face Africa said it had always been its dream to promote, develop the local modeling industry and give opportunities to people from various backgrounds and skin tones whilst creating an initiative that truly celebrates the range of beauty the industry has to offer.
“Starting in London, we’ll be exploring Senegal, Cameroun, Burundi, Rwanda, Kenya, Ghana, Angola and Nigeria. This would also give us a chance to work with more international agencies as they’re waiting to see whom we discover. We want to attract thousands of candidates to take part,” the group said.
It was gathered that the prize money was added this year because of the discovery that most of the models didn’t have much “Our goal is to place them to work directly with brands worldwide, especially in fashion capitals of Paris, Milan and London,” FFA explained.
