Pablo Picasso once quoted “Love is the greatest refreshment in life.” In this vein, the teams of Sheraton Hotels in Lagos and Abuja have gone beyond in their efforts to design the perfect romantic and family getaway for friends, families and loved ones this Valentine’s period.

According to Barry Curran- General Manager for Marriott Hotels in Nigeria, “we encourage all our patrons and customers to join us for Valentine’s Day to spark up those magical moments. Our teams have truly gone beyond to create unforgettable love-filled moments for all, who come in through our doors. Both our hotels will be delightfully decorated to reflect the valentine’s spirit and we believe this will create long-lasting memories.”

Sheraton Lagos Hotel will celebrate this season of love with exceptional packages on both classic and club rooms, as well as our unique food & beverage offers.

“Room rates will start from N66,000 and those, who book will receive inspirational valentine treats such as delicious cupcakes in your room on arrival and a 10% discount on our sumptuous Valentine’s day dinner,” he said.

To add more spice to the day, a Valentine’s Day photo booth will be set up beside the Pumpkin Leaf Restaurant to give opportunities for loved ones to take pictures and selfies.

“We encourage our guests to head up to our Pumpkin Leaf or Italian Restaurant for a curated Valentine’s Day dinner inclusive of a complimentary glass of red or white sparkling wine, chocolates and roses for ladies as well as soft drinks. Diners are equally welcome to spark off the evening by heading down to our renown Wazobia night right after dinner and dance the evening away.”

He continued: “Our ingenious Executive Chef and his expert team have come up with a variety of sumptuous dishes sure to delight the palate with offerings such as valentine slaw, smoked Norwegian salmon with dill mayonnaise, rice salad with smoked fish, shrimp and surimi crab cocktail with tropical fruits, goat pepper soup flavored with scent leaves, whole roasted leg of beef, roast penne pasta al Forno, stir-fry shrimp, calamari and fish with vegetables in oyster sauce, marinated croaker medallions and more.”

For those visiting Abuja, Sheraton Abuja Hotel teams have thoughtfully put together a momentous array of Valentine’s Day activities. The experiences include a beautiful arrival through a love tunnel, match making games where you get to pick half of a heart-shaped color-coded card at the restaurant venue and then meet your date, who will have the other half of the heart-shaped heart with the matching color.

“We will also offer Complimentary heart-shaped cakes for ladies while non-Stop Live entertainment and comedy will recharge the evening at our Pool Bar and Restaurant.”

A Cozy love photo booth for selfies and photos will equally be on display to capture your moments. A sizzling barbeque, stir fry and pasta stand among others will feature as part of the Valentine buffet spread at the Pool bar and Papillon Restaurants, while couples dining at the Obudu Grill and Luigi’s Restaurant will get a complimentary bottle of wine.

“At our Sheraton Hotels in Lagos and Abuja, we go beyond in our efforts to create long-lasting memories and by doing this we believe that we have strengthened our position not just as a hotel for business travelers but as destinations that create experiences for leisure seekers too. With our proven success and exceptional reputation in culinary expertise and hospitality, we look forward to celebrating Valentine’s Day with everyone,” he said.
