Ace filmmaker Tunde Kelani is currently on a tour of universities in Nigeria promoting his new film, ‘Dazzling Mirage’ and his new online television platform tundekelanitv.com.

The award winning filmmaker called from Osogbo, the Osun State capital during the week to say that the Mainframe crew was in Osogbo on a tour of educational institutions in Osun State. “We are done with Ogun and Oyo and now we are in Osun taking the message of Dazzling Mirage and the message of sickle cell anemia around,” he informed.

Although he was silent on the promotion of his new online television platform, a source revealed that TK, as younger colleagues, call the filmmaker have also used the opportunity of the tour to publicize the online television. It will be recalled that the celebrated joined the growing band of online television owner’s r with rich African cultural themed contents for viewers globally.

The new online platform, tundekelani.tv is a web – based facility and optimum on all mobile devices. The video channel is designed to offer viewers of all ages a refreshing viewing experience of past and current works of the award winning film director and other cultural themed contents from different owners across Africa and the diaspora. At the formal launch of the online television, Kelani revealed that it is an attempt to respond to the yearnings of teeming fans of rich African themed contents on the go that he and his team decided to float the online television platform. He said “distributing films or other contents physically are becoming increasingly difficult, revenues are lost on a daily basis and content owners are at the mercy of the menacing activities of pirates. I think it is just natural, expedient and sensible to take contents closer to the consumers on demand and in terms that suit all the parties involved”.
