It was an exciting experience, last Sunday, as highlife maestro, Flavour, took his usual homecoming concert to his hometown in Umunze, Anambra State. The show, which was free for attendees, was a night of non-stop groove.

The concert was organised by Life Beer, who has been a major cultural stakeholder in South Eastern Nigeria, over the years.

Some other guest entertainers that thrilled the audience include Phyno, who reeled out his rap hits to the ecstatic crowd; Masterkraft, as well as the viral sensation, Prophet Odumeje, who also threw the crowd into a comic frenzy.

Flavour has had quite a successful run recently with his Flavour of Africa U.S. tour having multiple sold-out venues in major cities such as Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis as well as his headline performance at New York’s legendary SOB.

He also shut down another headline concert in Lagos, last month, as part of the Flytime Music Festival.

“I feel like it’s the perfect way to celebrate with my fans what a truly amazing year we have had, and bring in a brand new energy for the New Year,” Flavour commented on the concert.

On his part, Senior Brand Manager, Life Continental Beer, Aishat Anaekwe, said: “For decades, Life Beer has supported the progress and success of easterners. We are using the concert to give our wonderful consumers a thrilling concert with one of Nigeria’s finest High-life musician, Flavour of Africa. As we grow, it is also our desire that our loyal customers and partners across the nation grow with us.”
