Edo Queens land in Calabar, confident of victory against Pelican Stars

Edo Queens FC of Benin yesterday afternoon touched down in Calabar, Cross River State, ahead of their NWFL matchday 5 encounters with the home team, Pelican Stars.

This all-important cracker is scheduled for 4.00 pm at the UJ Esuene Stadium.

The general coordinator of Sports, Office of the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mrs. Sabina Amiemenoghena Chikere, before departure, charged the girls to do themselves and the state proud.

“Our faith in you is never shaken and we remain confident that you will deliver a good job away in Calabar. Don’t be complacent thinking your opponents are pushovers; let it be like you are going for a World Cup final and give them a run for their money.
