The Godwin Obaseki girls sit first in Group A with eight points and will fancy their chances of getting past their hosts, who are yet to record any point in four games.

This all-important cracker is scheduled for 4.00 pm at the UJ Esuene Stadium.

The general coordinator of Sports, Office of the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mrs. Sabina Amiemenoghena Chikere, before departure, charged the girls to do themselves and the state proud.

“Our faith in you is never shaken and we remain confident that you will deliver a good job away in Calabar. Don’t be complacent thinking your opponents are pushovers; let it be like you are going for a World Cup final and give them a run for their money.

“As I will always tell you, we are fully behind you, so, go all out and grab the three maximum points that are the most thing for us. You can do it, girls.”
