TROJAN FC of Ikorodu, at the weekend, thrashed neighbours, Yomaraz FC, 5-1, to win the maiden DK Olukoya Ibile Cup for non-league clubs in Lagos.

It was an exciting final game at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium, with the winners making their intention clear from beginning of the game.

Trojan, handled by Olamilekan Omotosho, raced to a 3-0 lead in the first half through Sapele Oduayo, Agboola Usman and Akeem Adebode before Yomaraz scored from a penalty kick taken by Agbo Umaru.

Trojan continued their dominance at restart and got two well-worked goals through Toyeeb Adebayo and Sikiru Kilani.

At the end of the game, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry’s Director of Sports, Godwin Enarkhena, alongside the organising committee’s chairperson, Gbajumo Afolashade Muyinatu, presented the DK Olukoya Ibile Cup and the accompanying N200, 000 prize money to Trojan C, while as Yomaraz and third placed Ambassadors got N150, 000 and N70, 000 respectively.
