Scores of European Premier League (EPL) football fans from the South East geopolitical zone were on Sunday at Cubana Lounge, World Bank area of Owerri, capital city of Imo State, rewarded with gift items for their brand loyalty/insistence and love for football by the management of Guinness through the ‘Black Experience’ show.

The event was crafted by the multinational outfit to give back to the group that made the business blossom and to encourage and support football.

Speaking with The Guardian at the event, the Assistant Brand Manager, Guinness, Demilade Oresunya said the grand finale took place in Lagos and Owerri, adding that similar events had been held in five cities, including Lagos, Owerri, Enugu, Benin and Ibadan.

Oresunya said the company was impressed by the patronage of the football fans, adding that the event was organised to sustain public interest and shower them with gift items, including as N5, 000 recharge airtime for some lucky winners.

He said: “We are just giving the people experience like never before. We have to give back to consumers that supported us over the years and will continue to support the brand.
