Super Eagles Media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye has commended Dansol School for investing massively in sports growth, saying the school’s investment in games would aid the proper nurturing of its students.

Speaking during the school’s 14th yearly inter-house sports competition held recently at the Agege Stadium in Lagos, Ibitoye, who was the guest of honour, said organising such a great event for the past 14 years, indicated that the school placed high premium on sports growth of its students.

“I’m impressed with standard displayed by the athletes but this wouldn’t have been impossible if the school didn’t provide the facilities and platform to enable the students actualise their dreams.

“Apart from helping the students develop a sound mind, some of the talents at this competition could as well go on to become sports stars in few years time,” Ibitoye said.

The event proper was full of fun and excitement with the students, staff and housemasters gathering at the stadium in different colours, each representing their house.

The event flagged off with a march past presentation from all the houses. Palm House, Olive House, Cedar House and Vine House, all performed brilliantly with the House Queens displaying royalty at its finest. The event was well attended by parents, students and members of staff.

Dansol’s 14th Inter-House Sports came to a memorable end with Cedar House taking first place, Palm House second, Vine House third and Olive House in fourth place. Also not left out were representatives of the invited schools, who were presented with certificates and prizes for the invitational race event.
