…NB Plc’s brands dangle awards on outstanding players
The Super Eagles players, who excel in today’s match against Guinea Bissau’s Djurtus will get mouth-watering rewards from three brands on the stable of Nigerian Breweries Plc., Goldberg, Life Continental and ZAGG Energy Drink.
As part of this new sponsorship drive, Life Continental premium lager beer will present the ‘Man of the Match’ award, while Goldberg will reward the player with the winning goal.
Beyond the traditional award, ZAGG Energy Drink will reserve special honour for the ‘Energy Moment of the Match,’ which recognises the most impactful moment of the game.
According to Senior Brand Manager, Life Continental Beer, Francis Obiajulu, noted that the brands would offer new life, not just to the Super Eagles, but Nigerian football in its entirety.
“If you call it a new dawn, you are right, we have always matched our words with action and that is what we are doing with this new phase of sponsorship of the national team,” he declared.
