The eighth Lead-Forte Gate Schools biennial inter-house sports competition will be held on February 20, at the UNILAG Sports Complex, Akoka, Lagos, the schools have announced.
The event will bring together students from both the Lead-Forte Gate Primary and College campuses to a day of fierce competition, team spirit, and celebration of athletic excellence. Founded in 2002, Lead-Forte Gate Schools has grown into a premier institution, comprising a Primary School located at 1, Insha Allah Street, Ramat Crescent, Ogudu GRA, Lagos, and Lead-Forte Gate College, a full-boarding secondary school located in Lekki.
The inter-house competition will showcase the institution’s commitment to developing well-rounded students, who excel not only in academics, but also in sports, leadership, and character.
The students from both the primary and college schools will compete in track and field events and team sports, among other exciting games, with an emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork, and the importance of maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.
The school invited its alumni, parents, and the wider community to join in the memorable event and to cheer on the students and celebrate their achievements.
