The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the third Senate President U-18 Unity Cup has appointed chairman of P.Sports Football Academy, Paul Ojo Omamomi, as chief Scout for the tournament.

The competition’s LOC chairman, Adede Kufre Inima, explained yesterday that Omamomi’s appointment was in recognition of his vast experience in grassroots football development, his track record as a renowned academy administrator, and his reputation as a credible talent agent.

He said that the tournament aims to discover young football talents, foster unity, and create direct pathways for Nigerian youth through sports, in line with the vision of the Senate President, Dr Godswill Obot Akpabio.

He said that as chief scout, Omamomi will head the scouting team to identify, assess and recommend outstanding U-18 players during the tournament.
