And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Physical gifts are always commensurate with the personality of the recipient. The choice of a gift is usually according to the worth of the recipient. The status of the recipient determines the value of the gift to be given. What you would give a king or some VIP would be worth more than what you will give an ordinary person. A gift is a royal gift, whether you’re giving to a king or receiving from a king.

So, when you’re receiving a gift from God or giving to God, it carries a divine character. Be careful of the gift you give to God! Don’t insult Him. It’s not about the amount per se, but the heart behind the gift. Remember the widow’s mite! What is constant is the fact that a divine gift either way is prophetic. When you receive a gift that is far beyond your current status, it is an announcement of your up coming status. That was the experience of baby Jesus in Matthew 2:1-2

“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”

Here was Jesus, Who when He was to be born, there was no room for Him at the inn! Here was Jesus that had to be born in a manger, where He competed with domestic animals for space. This is why I declare that your humble background and upbringing will not hinder the manifestation of your glorious value in Jesus name. Your star will shine beyond your background In Jesus name.

Matthew 2:10
When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.For a while, the star of Jesus was obstructed from the view of those who carried His gift until God caused it to reappear…Today, everyone and everything obstructing your star or your glory will give way in Jesus name. Your star will reappear and everyone will rejoice with you IJN.

Matthew 2:11
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. To a child born in a manger? These gifts must be speaking gifts. Let’s see what they say:
The gifts:

Gold
“….. and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold,
Gold is a symbol of Kingship on earth. So, the gift of gold spoke of the kingship of Jesus:
Whereas Herod and his chiefs in the palace, as well as the people in the inn did not recognise Him as King, something else spoke on His behalf:

His star and the gift of Gold!
Matthew 2:2
….Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
This same recipient of Gold, acknowledged as the King of the Jews and more appropriately King of kings is God’s gift to you and I.John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

It is the receipt of this gift that makes us to be described in 1 Peter 2:9 as “……a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:”

Jesus is still carrying that gift of gold around with the intention of making more kings on earth…
Kings of the earth make chiefs, but the King of Heaven makes kings…. That’s why He’s called the King of kings!

John 1:11-12
He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

I pray for each and everyone today, whatever is preventing us from attaining to divine royalty, as intended by God, will depart from our lives today in Jesus name. Have you wondered why the streets of the New Earth (new Jerusalem – Rev. 21) is made of Gold? It’s because it’s waiting to receive the footsteps of kings… Don’t wonder who these are… It’s about Us who receive God’s gift that qualify for the street of Gold.
