I wish you consider the above scripture very carefully. Seeing and see not, hearing and do not perceive, lest they understand and be corrected or seem …. In Malachi Chapter One, God said the church has turned away from his decrees and from following Him. He thus asks the church to return to Him; that the church has robbed Him, but how? He said, “in tithe and offering” and as a result, there is a curse which can and will be removed by repentance to tithes and offering.

“For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts. But ye said, wherein shall we return? Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation,” Malachi 3:6-9.

The battle against tithing or the anti-vices against the rule of God did not start today. It has been for thousands of years, but God always has a record of those who will not dine with the devil by working against God’s principles. God does not change as a result the House of Jacob is not destroyed. That is to say that what He has written for our protection and peace should not be changed or there will be destruction.

God asks us to return to His decree for our protection (Malachi 3:10-11).

In our returning back to it in obedience, all nations will call us blessed. The principle of tithing was given to reveal God in the provision and protection of His people and their harvest.

First, whatever they or you will have is a gift from the Lord.

“And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, when ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord,” Leviticus 25:1.

To enjoy these gifts or blessings from the Lord, we are commanded to obey Him; and follow His decrees.

“Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety,” Leviticus 25:18.

And if we do, the land will yield increase, we shall be filled and dwell in safety.

“And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety,” Leviticus 25:19.

The Lord continued His instruction.

“Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God,” Leviticus 26:1.

We must not do anything that you will want to or we assume will give us increased harvest or that will make us prosper. Do not plant or bury things in your business (which many non-Christians do), but rather, we should reverence Him.

“Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord,” Leviticus 26:2.
