It is also very important that you prepare for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ because events in the international politics and happenings in Nigeria are pointers that we are approaching the end of age.

Text: Mathew 21:12-14

Key Verse: Mathew 21:2, “… Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me.” (KJV)

The Gospel of Mathew 21 begins with the story of triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem in preparation of His death. His coronation processional into Jerusalem, as he sat on a donkey, was marked by simplicity rather than pomp and by humility rather than splendour. And as He had predicted (Mathew 20:18-19), He had come not to reign but to die, not to be crowned but to be crucified, and not for the purpose of delivering Israel from the power of Rome, but of delivering all men from the power of sin.

Jesus instructed His disciples to go into the next village that they will find a donkey tied there and her young donkey by it, and they should untie them and bring them to Him. It is important to note two things about the donkey: (1) It was tied and (2) It was unused. The state of the donkey represents the situation of our nation and so many people today. You may have been tied and wasting without recognition. But the interesting thing about the donkey was that one day Jesus discovered it, untied it and used it to ride into Jerusalem. The status of the donkey changed immediately Jesus sat and rode on it into Jerusalem. I want to announce to you that Year 2017 is your year of Divine Introduction and no hatred can cage you. That rope that has tied your destiny is broken in the name of Jesus. There shall be mighty release of talents this year. I declare that from January 1 to March 31, 2017, God shall make you a sample of His Goodness.

This year, you will carry a new status, if only you will allow Jesus Christ to ride into your life, and your wasted years shall be restored. There shall be mass manifestation of talents, gifts and anointing. The neglected shall become recognised. God knows the formula to use, if He decides to introduce you. Don’t forget to give God back the glory, when He introduces you. When people give you the Lord’s seat, practically resist them.

Jesus shall be visiting His Church this year for two reasons: (1) to sanitise His Church and (2) to bless His people. It has been a while Jesus visited our churches; He is coming with a whip in His hands to cleanse His church and also with His blessings to bless the people of God. After cleansing the temple of Jerusalem, He healed the blind and the lame (Mathew 21:14). Jesus will sweep His church and does not need your permission to do so.

“It is your year of multiple testimonies and each month God will give you a striking testimony”; “In this Year, the Lord shall lift you from the corner, where you have been forgotten and He will raise you and place you on high”; “The Lord shall pull you out of Organisational Salary and “You shall not die, but you will live to declare the Glory of the Lord.”

It is also very important that you prepare for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ because events in the international politics and happenings in Nigeria are pointers that we are approaching the end of age. You shall be rapturable in Jesus Name, Amen.

Today’s Nugget: Jesus is coming with whip in His hands to cleanse His church and also with His blessings to bless the people of God.
Prayer: O Lord, sanitise my life and bless me in Jesus Name, Amen.
