As we await hope for the needy – Part 2

Brethren, certainly if Jesus tarries next week, there shall be refreshing Hope For The Needy. Anybody who is in need of healing, deliverance, salvation and abundance of grace and who made himself available by participating in the forthcoming programme shall receive answer to his/her prayers in accordance with his/her desire. I am assuring you, at that divinely designed programme, there shall be transformation of lives, as never happened before.

As our Lord Jesus Christ invited the needy vis-a-vis sinners, labourers, those under the burden of poverty and health challenges, among others, to come and have respite, so also He is inviting you by this message to come and have the fountains of life free. Matt. 11: 28-29 says, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”

So, iff you are among the needy, God is inviting you to come to Him for a refreshing hope. Remember that itt is only in the Lord that the hopeless shall have real hope. So, if it seems there is no more hope for you this year, and you are far from the Lord, I want you to make haste and come to the Lord, for God’s time to give hope to the needy has come. The Almighty God has determined to give hope this time to as many as will come to Him. He has promised to do a new thing, give a new hope for the needy.

Isaiah 43: 19 says, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” God is set to do in the forthcoming programme such a marvelous work, as has never been done for the needy before. The present situation of hopelessness cannot scuttle God’s programme for you. God will wrought wonders in the life of people to demonstrate that He is the Almighty God and nothing is impossible for Him. There shall be great transformation as never experienced before. Those that are deaf will be made to hear. Those that are impotent will by divine grace be made potent, and the dumb, shall have their lips opened to show forth His praise.

Isaiah 35: 5- 6 says, “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.”If there is any area in your life that needs God’s intervention, I want to assure you that you shall have it. It does not matter how bad your situation is, or how powerful the enemy that shattered your hope may be.

One thing is sure: He has assured us of hope for our need, and He will never disappoint us. If you can come to Him by this invitation, you shall have your need met in Jesus name.

Now, having known the measure of hope God is bringing to us in this programme, what then shall be our preparation?
Amos 4: 12 says, “Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.”
Beloved, as we expect God to revive our hope, we should remember that God is not a man. While men have sinful nature, God has a holy nature. He is pure and holy and will thus not revive hope of the unholy people. If you come to the programme and refuse to repent from your sin, you will go empty-handed and trouble will not depart from you. If we need God to revive our hope, we must be holy and conformed to His nature. The Scripture says the desire of the righteous shall be granted. He that is righteous shall be immovably happy, for his hope is built on a solid rock, and therefore not shocked by the storm of hopelessness. The needs of the righteous are assured at the visitation of the Lord.

So, for us to be among those He is coming to restore their hope come this weekend, we must prepare to be holy. So, if you desire to be blessed on that day, you must endeavour to clean yourself from all contamination, both of the heart and body. If your case is disappointment and lack of promotion, and you want to experience favour, or you are barren, and need to rekindle hope of fruitfulness, you must prepare to be holy.

He has given us promises to encourage us to prepare, and we must therefore prepare to meet Him. The will of God from generation to generation is communicated plainly and openly to the people. It says, ‘Ye shall be holy, for I am holy’. There is no ambiguity in God’s requirement. The people of God must be separated from the world, for they are required to be holy, for God is wholly holy. 1Thes. 4:7 says, “For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.”

When He called us to be His followers, it was not that we should live the lives of uncleanness, but of holiness. We should, therefore, fulfil the purposes by which we are called, for holiness is the sure foundation on which hopes are restored and eternal life given.Beloved, God is prepared to give the needy and nation an enduring hopes at this programme. Don’t be left out. Come and you shall be blessed.
