Introduction

Life is more spiritual than physical. Before anything can happen to a man physically, it must have first been carried out in the spiritual realm. This is because the spiritual controls the physical and nothing can be seen or experienced in the physical until it has been successfully executed in the spiritual.

Before the earth was formed, God in the spirit realm saw from there and spoke into existence all that is now physically seen. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light,” Genesis 1:1-3.

The spiritual realm serves as a part from where God reveals His future plans for His children good or bad and also brings rebuke as the case maybe, whenever there is a need to do so. One of those things that happen to a man in the spiritual realm is a dream.

Dream is the first will for mankind from ages; it is a confidential way for a supernatural relationship and information dissemination. “And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him,” Genesis 15:12. “In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed,” Job 33:15.

Unfortunately, the devil is also aware of this, and he, through his negative influence and ignorance of the people, enters into that realm to pollute and destroy those good plans before they come to physical manifestation. The devil comes to manipulate, and as believers, we must not be ignorant of his wiles aimed at controlling lives and destiny through this God intended means of communicating His desires to His precious children.

“…For we are not ignorant of his devices,” 2 Corinthians 2:11b. The dream world is a subconscious one, which must be given adequate attention if you must win the spiritual battles in life. Many have received light from their darkness in their journey to destiny through dreams just as many lives have been polluted and buried through it. Ignorance about dream has given the devil and his agents so much access to the destiny of many.

Now, is the time for you to make conscious efforts in studying the word of God and praying to control what happens to you in the unconscious world (dream), if you don’t want to be a prey in the hands of the manipulator. You should also give attention to details of God’s instruction through your dreams so as to be well informed of things to come and you must be willing to adjust when there is a warning from Him. Your dream is your life and your life is your dream. Do not be careless with it. It deserves a whole lot of attention.
