It is expedient for believers all over the world to note that while we wait for the rapture of the saints that our Lord Jesus Christ died for the salvation of all men. According to God’s plan and programme, none should be left behind to suffer in the hand of the devil and his agents in hell fire. In the concluding parts of the lead scripture, it is clearly stated, “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”. There are three aspects of the Will of God: the first is His sovereign Will (He is completely independent with the ability to do all things; there is no power that can challenge His, and there is none to influence Him).

The second is His moral Will, the moral law (the perfect law that accepts everybody that believes in Him and obeys His words), and the third is His desires or Will coming from His heart of love. It is this God’s heart of love for all that informed the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the world to have all men to be saved as written in John 3:16 saying, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. The nature of God is love; hence there is no discrimination in offering salvation to all, as long as one keys into the sacrificial death on the Cross of Calvary, accepting that through that crucifixion of the innocent and sinless Son of God, your own eternal life in heaven is assured, if you believe and live holy.

God created the first man and made provision for everything that would enhance his comfort in the Garden of Eden, and the essence of creating man is for man to serve Him. Even when our first parents, Adam and Eve violated the Divine instruction and committed sin of disobedience, God still opened another window through which man should be saved to live eternal life in bliss. These reasons are enough to prove to all men that God loves us and wants the salvation of all the men He created. The Bible says in 1st Timothy 2:3-4, “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth”. God is our Saviour and our Lord Jesus Christ is His only begotten Son. Both of them are the same; if you encounter the Son, you have equally seen the Father and vice versa. We should, therefore, place our faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ as our Saviour, the mediator through whom we meet our God, the Father. We should have it in mind that He wants all men to be saved. He demands our worship, which is the purpose of our creation. Our salvation and eternal life in heaven is more important than the blessings of the world. Our service and worship to God must not be based on earthly blessings, but to serve God for Who He is, our Creator Who loved us, even when we were sinners. He promised eternal life in heaven and promised the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to rapture the saints.

It is rather unfortunate that many people are still thinking of which way to go: either to depend on the things and pleasures of the world or serve God and enter into His eternal life at the end of their life on this planet earth. That is why Prophet Joel was lamenting in the book of Joel 3:14-16 saying, “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel”. Prophet Joel is lamenting that despite the fact the day of the Lord is near, the sun and moon will soon withdraw their light and darkness will rule the day. Many people are still in the valley of decision. There is need for quick decision and action now that the grace is still available and opportunity still abounds for repentance. God is calling on all men to come to the knowledge of the truth, accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, so that they will be saved when the trumpet shall sound. Time waits for no one and it will be rather unfortunate that after the death of Christ on the Cross; people still go to hell fire. This is contrary to God’s Will for man He created.

It is written in Matthew 9:36-38, “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest”. In the present world, a lot of people are confused yet they lack knowledge of their confusion because of dearth of proper guidance. There is need for believers, missionaries and evangelists to go into the field to preach the gospel. Many people who are wallowing in wealth think all is well with them, not knowing their souls have been mortgaged with earthly possessions that lead nowhere. Their faith is in their earthly possessions, forgetting that the giver of the wealth will one day ask them to give account of how they lived their life on earth. On the other hand, the poor are thinking their God has forgotten them. But they do not know that they should put their faith in God and serve Him despite their poverty.

The salvation and eternal life in heaven are more important than perishable earthly wealth that does not stand the test of time. Christ died for all and needs all He died for, to be saved. In 2nd Corinthians 5:14-15 it is written, “For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again”. Our Lord Jesus Christ died for all, therefore, believers should go into the field of unbelievers to preach and bring them to the knowledge of the truth. Their salvation is more important than the things of this world. Let no man think he is comfortable and has lived a fulfilled life, when he is yet to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Christ is calling you to repentance. You should heed that call, so as to make heaven at the end of this earthly life.

Worshippers with diverse ailments testifying during the crusade in Taraba State

MY name is Sister Kate Eze. I joined this ministry in 2003. I glorify the Lord’s name for vindicating me over the family problems I had with my husband’s people. Sometime ago, my husband travelled to the village, and though he didn’t tell me he would be coming back with any one, surprisingly, he came back with his niece (his elder sister’s daughter). Immediately the little girl stepped into my house, my daughter started screaming that she didn’t want to stay in our house again. I asked her what happened, she said she would not stay with her cousin because she is a witch. I said no, she is your sister; she is not a witch. My daughter ran outside, and it became an issue. Eventually, my husband called her and asked her where she wanted to stay, if she would not stay in her own house, and she said she would go to her uncle’s place. So, my husband took her to his elder brother’s place at Ebute-Metta and she stayed there. My husband, his niece and the rest were staying together with me in the house.

That period was when we were preparing for the programme entitled “…AND THE ENEMIES SUBMITTED” 2014. I came to the church to help with publicity, so I was posted to go for publicity at Ladipo, Oshodi. We came back in the evening at 7p.m, and our leader prayed for us and we left. As I was going, he called me back and told me that the Lord would reveal to me the enemy living under my roof. I said amen and left. I got home very tired. I had my bath, ate and went to bed. As I was sleeping, a hand tapped me and I heard a voice saying: “Get up and pray.” I woke up to check if it was her or my husband, and I saw her lying on the ground. I said to myself, it’s true I didn’t pray because I was tired. So, I managed to say a short prayer and I lied down again. Shortly after, I felt a tap and a voice told me to change the position of where I was lying down. I did as instructed. Shortly after, I felt a hand waving at my face, and immediately I couldn’t lift myself, as my body became so heavy. My eyes were open but I couldn’t move my body. Behold, when I turned to look at where the girl was lying down, I couldn’t see her, instead I saw a python. The python curled and brought out its head to strike.

I was too heavy to lift myself, while the python was looking at me eyeball to eyeball. It opened its mouth wide to swallow me. I shouted Jesus and stood up. Behold, it turned back into that girl. I wasn’t able to sleep again, as I was afraid. I called her by her name ‘Ujunwa’. She got up and l ordered her that we should begin to pray. So, we started praying and the prayer lasted between two and three hours. I told her to lie down and she did. I also lied down but I wasn’t sleeping. She turned again into a brown pussycat. l was in the middle and another black pussycat was at my side. The black one ran away through the window, leaving the brown one. l started battling with the brown one, and I said in my mind that I was going to kill the pussycat. So, we battled and I hit it on the wall. Suddenly, a voice said to me, “Don’t kill that cat. If you kill that cat, your name will never be clean again in this life and they will not understand.” So, I left the cat and immediately it changed to Ujunwa again. This was happening around 4a.m. I couldn’t sleep again and we started praying again till 5a.m. l decided to take her with me for morning preaching. As I was preaching, she was sharing handbills, after which we went home.
