Introduction
One gift God has given to every man equally is the gift of time. God the Creator of all, including time, has packaged everything in this world in time. The truth is that some things are meant to happen at a particular time. If they don’t, they may never happen again in that particular life. That is why the Bible says, “To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the sun (Eccl. 3:1). The saying is true, as he who does not value time is not born to be great.

Show me a great organisation/nation, and I will show you an organisation/nation that respects/values time. Success often depends upon sensing the movement and seizing the moment. Failure to do the right thing at the right time can spell disaster. While we all have 24 hours everyday, we must realise that God has a perfect timetable. Jesus was born at the fullness of time (Phil. 4:4). Of note is the fact that there are two Greek words for time (1.) Kronos – (Agogo in Yoruba) (ayth in Hebrew) – the science of organising sequences or events. A football match is scheduled for 90 minutes. A secondary school education is for six years, etc.

It is measured in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years. Kronos demands that we plan for now and the future. (2) Kairos – season (Akoko in Yoruba) (zemawn in Hebrew) – an occasion that is set or proper time, a time of opportunity, appointed time for favour, a due season for divine visitation; a time when things fall into places. May this be your kairos for unlimited triumph! May your miracle manifest at the fullness of time and may you not miss your time. Amen.

• Divine Timing
One truth our passage reveals to us is that God has time for everything. He makes all things beautiful in His time though some versions say in its time (vs11). There are two errors a man can commit, when it comes to divine timing. Any of the two will make man to miss divine plan. These are:

• Running Ahead Of God
This often happens when we are impatient, presumptuous or impetuous. The Bible says, “he who makes haste with his feet errs” (Proverbs 19:2b). It is dangerous to run ahead of God’s time.

• Lagging Behind God
This also occurs due to fear of failure or perfectionist tendencies. Fear, doubt, unbelief can make us delay what God wants us to do in time till another time. The consequence is always devastating when we run behind God.

• Moving With God
Since God has perfect timing, the best way to enjoy Him is to move with God according to time. You can get this done by
• Respecting Time: If you do not respect time, time will not respect you either.
• Recognising Divine Timing: To move with God in time will require having a close relationship with Him and being sensitive to His Spirit. May your ears not be deaf when God is speaking to you. Amen.
• Wait On God – If you are going to triumph this year, you will need to walk with God. Don’t run ahead of Him and don’t lag behind Him. Be sensitive to His leading and don’t be carried away by circumstances. If you have a challenging situation, I believe the Psalmist advice in Psalm 37:7-9, 34 can be of help to you. (1) Rest in the Lord.
• Wait patiently for Him.
• Keep to His ways.
I see God exalting you to inherit the land. I see God making things beautiful for you in His time.
