Living in times like this

Related

We are living in the last days and in one of the most difficult times on earth, when there is panic and fear everywhere. The world is in need of a Saviour and Liberator, because no man seems to have solutions to the world’s problems. The world’s current situation has revealed the tragic weakness of civilization. We are faced with new realities staring us in the face, and which make us ask the question, “What do we do in times like these?”

The Book of Psalm Chapter 91 has the answer to what to do in times like the present situation the world has found itself in. What to do in times like this is to dwell in the secret place of the Most High God. The situation the world has found itself in calls for divine habitation. Divine habitation is living in Christ, walking with Christ and living for Christ every day of our lives on earth. Divine habitation is living in consciousness of divine presence by constant fellowship with God. Divine habitation begins with giving your life to Christ and turning away from your sins and wicked ways.

The best time to get Born Again is now – you have no cover if you are not in Christ. Beloved, now is the acceptable day of salvation. Indeed, the right time to make peace with Jesus is now (2 Corinthians 6:2). There is no safe place to live than to live in Christ. When you make peace with Jesus and begin a close walk with God, then the Lord will be your refuge and thy habitation (Psalm 91:9). Have you personally made the Lord your place of refuge and thy habitation? The only safe place is to live in Christ. Beloved, I encourage you to repent from your sins now and make things right with God, so that no matter what happens, you will spend your eternity in Heaven.

What matters most in times like this is your relationship with Christ. The situation calls for knowing God; teaching the gospel pure the way it is; teaching the raw word of God without dilution; every man lowering himself that Christ will be exalted; teaching people the ways of God, so that they will walk in His path; knowing and understanding who you are in Christ; studying the Bible for yourself and not calling one man to pray for you always, but building your most holy faith in Christ. Christianity is not built around a man, but on a resurrected Christ.

Dwelling in the secret place of God is an invitation to all true believers in Christ, but few come and dwell. It is only sin that will separate you from dwelling in the secret place of God, Who has a shelter for His people and it’s under His shadow. When we are in sweet communion with God, we enter into this special place where nothing can penetrate. When you come under God’s cover, neither plague nor disease will destroy you (Psalm 91:6).

Living in times like this calls for urgency of prayer. When God’s people call on Him for mercy, He will hear and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14). God calls His people to trust Him, to live carefully, to be watchful, and to pray in troubled times. When you keep constant fellowship with God, you will continually abide under His protection. In times like this, you need the Saviour and you must come under the cover of God to be saved.
