In fulfilment of its Christian Social Responsibility (CSR), The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Rivers of Joy Sanctuary, Ilasamaja has donated a borehole to Ifelodun Community in Ilasa area of Lagos State.

Pastor-in-charge of Province 53, Benjamin Ajayeoba, who led church members to commission the project at the weekend, said the intervention was in line with the church’s vision to positively impact its host communities. He explained that the gesture was sequel to realisation of the community’s need, which had long suffered access to potable water, adding that the church will continue to partner with the community on other areas of need.

An elated Chairman of Ifelodun Landlord and Tenant Association, Bashorun Ogunsanya, who witnessed the commissioning, thanked the church for coming to the community’s aid. A member of the community, who also expressed gratitude to the church, said: “I am filled with so much joy. I am happy and delighted that we have a free borehole here. May God continue to bless RCCG for this great initiative.”
