Text: Romans 12:1-2
Key Verse: Ephesians 4:24: “And that you put on the new man which was created
according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” (NKJV)

The transformed life is a new creation, a brand-new man and a changed life that is dead to sin, but alive unto righteousness and holiness. The old way of living has passed away, you are now born again and living the victorious Christian life. You present your whole self to God as a living sacrifice, not holding anything back. You separate yourself from the world system, but dedicated to God as your spiritual worship.

The transformed life says no to the things that are not in agreement with the Bible and Godly values. The transformed life live by Godly values and confronts the unhealthy lifestyles and sinful habits.

You cannot be saved and be involved in ungodly thoughts, all types of tricks, all types of cunning and all types of crookedness. Interestingly, when you play all these crookedness and bring all these cunnings, you should not forget that God is omniscient. It is important to remember always that God is omniscient. People always proclaim the omnipotence of God and say: “I serve a God who is great, I serve a God who is mighty, I serve a God who is Almighty, who can do anything which is consistent with His person and I serve a God who Has all power.” Of course, that is very true, but also remember that God is Omnipresent and Omniscient. The God that is at Enugu, is the same God in Okigwe, Aba, Port Harcourt and Kano. If I am to travel to the United States of America, before I take off from here, God is already there.

If you are an adulterer in the church and you say you are saved, I want to tell you that you are not saved: you are just an adulterer. If you are a fornicator in the church and you say you are saved, I want to tell you that you are not saved; you are a fornicator and will go to Hell. You will never be raptured because you are a tool in the hands of the devil and do not belong to God. If you are filled with hatred, malice, envy and jealousy, you are a tool in the hands of Satan.

Are you a thief or do you even steal in God’s House? Some people steal from God’s house. A thief will go to hell and not Heaven. So, you have to ask yourself some questions: who exactly am I? Remember, hypocrites will not go to Heaven, there place is in hell fire.

God is omniscient and He knows everything about you and I. God understands you thoroughly; He knows you very well. This is important for anyone who wants to worship God to note. If the devil says play pranks, you say no, I cannot and you tell him that in 2Timothy 2:19 that the Lord says that He knows those that are His and let anyone that calls the name of the Lord depart from iniquity. So, you deny ungodliness; you deny worldly lust; you live soberly and you live righteously. We should live godly lives in this present age and not when we get to Heaven. We should live soberly, righteously and godly because these are the things that qualify us for the rapture. As we live this way, we are looking forward to the blessed hope of believers in Christ and the glorious appearing of our great King, the Lord Jesus.
