There is hope for you – Part 2

Looking at Joseph’s story, it looks as if he was going deeper and deeper into trouble. One might even conclude that the prison was his last bus stop. Don’t forget that he was sent there by his boss, who was an influential man, for an unpardonable offence.

Looking at Joseph’s story, it looks as if he was going deeper and deeper into trouble. One might even conclude that the prison was his last bus stop. Don’t forget that he was sent there by his boss, who was an influential man, for an unpardonable offence. Who do you think would bail him out? A dead end someone might say.

And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.

And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. Genesis 39: 19-20
But where God has not put a full stop, nobody can. You might not know how, but He will do it. There is hope for you. Your brain is too small to fathom how God can lift you up, make your longtime dream come to pass. But He is God, and He will do it.

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. John 21:3

And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes. John 21:6

Peter, the fisherman toiled all night, caught nothing and was frustrated. It looked like an empty and unprofitable night, because they caught nothing. The master stepped in and said children have you got any meat? The master came in, when they had been exhausted and all their strength gone. But He still came in and said cast your net and they caught fishes. That was not all. After that, when they came to the shore, they met with the major surprise of their life.

As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. John 21:9.They went fishing because they were hungry and they caught nothing. When they got to the shore, they met prepared food waiting for them: They had bread and fish, ready-made food waiting for them. They didn’t have to prepare the fish they caught. Jesus had already made prepared food for them, just like He did to Joseph. He prepared an already-made throne for him. He didn’t have to contest or bargain for it; he walked into it because it had already been prepared.

Don’t give up on your dreams. It might look vague and fading. You might have decided to settle for an alternative lifestyle because you believe it cannot come to pass. Lift up your eyes, it will come to pass. He will take you to your prepared throne, it is prepared for you and He will take you there.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Psalm 23:5.Thou prepared a table before me… You might have thrown in the towel, but you will pick it up again because Jesus is coming for you. You don’t have to know how, but He will do it and you will give Him the glory.
Cheer Up.
