Marriage ordained by God

Marriage is ordained by God; it is His institution. The first book of the Bible provides the details:
And the Lord God said, ‘It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him’ . . . And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’

Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh (Gen. 2:18, 21-24).

Marriage is the oldest institution, extending back to the Garden of Eden. According to the Scriptures, God made man and then God made the woman, and subsequently “He brought her to the man” (Gen. 2:22). Thus, marriage is ordained by God and was initiated by Him at the time of creation.

A Marriage ordained by God showcases fruitful value to the generation, that is the case of this wonderful marriage, which produced three great men of God located in Lagos, Abuja, and Nnewi. These men are Anene Nwachukwu, Ejike Nwachukwu and Chidozie Nwachukwu all Rhema prophetic generals. Every encounter with these God’s generals is a life-changing testimony.

(1 Timothy 3:2) “An overseer then must be blameless, the husband of one wife.”

(1 Timothy 3:12) “Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife.”

(Titus 1:5-6) ‘Ordain elders in every city…

If any be blameless, the husband of one wife.”

As God only created one husband for Eve, any woman with more than one husband is also out of God’s will, and this is also indicated in the New Testament:
