Power with God
Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us; Hosea 12:3-4
POWER with God is the secret to supernatural strength. But Hosea said, ‘and by his strength he had power with God.’
Power with God is a function of your capacity to…. That is, your hunger, thirst, and desire. It is those that thirst and hunger that shall be filled.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6
The amount of the power of God you carry is proportional to your strength and capacity or container for the power. Jesus was filled without measure.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Ephesians 6:10
Your spiritual capacity determines the level of God’s manifestation you thirst for, which determines God’s power in you. The woman’s oil cease when she had no more containers to be filled.
Now unto him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20
Whatever causes your weakness will make for power leakage. To prevail in life is not for the lazy. Ministry is not for the lethargic, business is not for the slack, and marriage is not for quitters.
You must have capacity; build capacity for that which you desire. The vision you have for life is determined by your capacity to see far. Your level of result in life is also determined by your capacity.
If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. Proverbs 24:10
No one succeeds in the journey of life without strength. Jesus was strengthened, anointed to fulfill His purpose on earth.
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38
God chooses whom He gives power to, and even from the womb, He has given strength to Jacob to be stronger than his brother.
And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manners of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people, and the elder shall serve the younger. Genesis 25:23.
God is the owner and giver of strength. He knows our future and what we are to become, and what we are born to become determines the strength and power we are to carry.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31
