The Future-Forward FemaleTM Movement, the driving force behind these awards, is a global conscious collective dedicated to advancing visionary women of African descent. Through compelling vision, legacy leadership and collaboration beyond boundaries, the movement seeks to catalyse, connect and celebrate the achievements of Future-Forward FemalesTM globally.
This year’s awards were designed to not only acknowledge the remarkable accomplishments of these young women but also to catalyse their ongoing work, connecting them with industry-specific opportunities and mentorships while showcasing their tenacity, brilliance and grit on the global stage.
At the event, 25 outstanding ladies across seven distinct dimensions of youthful female leadership were celebrated under different categories. The categories included Visionary Leader, Impact Maker, Disability Champion, Queen of Enterprise, Transformation Voice, Partner in Purpose and Culture Ambassador.
Each awardee stood as a testament to the diversity and depth of talent among young women, embodying the spirit of the Future Forward FemaleTM Movement.
According to Deji-Kurunmi, “this moment marks the initiation of a movement destined to persistently catalyse, connect and celebrate the extraordinary achievements of Future Forward FemalesTM across the globe.”
She underlined that while the future undeniably belongs to women, it is a particular kind of woman who will shape this future.
“This woman possesses self-mastery, has harnessed the full extent of her genius, thrives in cutting-edge innovation prowess, is visionary, and is acutely conscious of the imperative to construct a lasting legacy. The Future Forward FemalesTM Movement is unwaveringly committed to nurturing and elevating women of this caliber,” she said.

She challenged them to contemplate the values and principles that should form the fabric of society. Her words resonated deeply, encouraging reflection on the collective responsibility we share in shaping the future of our nation.
Queen of the Warri Kingdom, Olori Ivie Atuwatse III, emphasised the importance of personal leadership in the life and journey of any visionary. She underscored the pivotal role that individual commitment and leadership play in effecting positive change.
The climax of the evening was the awards ceremony itself, where each awardee was spotlighted for their exceptional contributions. The diversity of the awardees mirrored the rich tapestry of talent and innovation emerging from the younger generation.
