Two persons have sustained injuries in a truck-truck collision that occurred around Lenuwa on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.
The vehicles involved in the crash are: a White DAF truck with registration number T-13351LA and another White DAF truck with no registration number.
Spokesperson of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed this to newsmen in a statement in Abeokuta on Wednesday.
Akinbiyi said that two persons(adult males) sustained varying degrees of injuries from the accident.
He said that four people were occupants of the two white DAF truck with one loaded with diesel and the other loaded with bottled water
The TRACE Public Relations Officer said the cause of the crash was speeding by the driver of the truck loaded with diesel, who hit the truck loaded with bottled water from the rear.
He said that operatives of TRACE, Police and Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) were on the ground for a rescue mission.
Akinbiyi said the injured victims had been taken to Live Well Hospital in Sagamu, while the accident vehicles had been towed by Redeem POLICE MTD for further investigation.
