Three persons have sustained injuries in an auto crash that occurred along Eleja on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

Involved accident are: a Howo TRUCK, registration number and Mazda 323 Taxi car with registration number: ABB 700 XY.

Spokesperson of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency(TRACE) Babatunde Akinbiyi confirmed this to newsmen in a statement in Abeokuta yesterday.

Akinbiyi said that five occupants were involved in the crash where three persons sustained injuries.

He said that the accident occurred due to overspending on the part of the truck driver who lost control of the vehicle, while in an attempt to avoid a head-on collision with the truck, the Mazda taxi driver veered off the road into the bush and struck a pole.

The TRACE PRO said that the accidented victims had been rescued by good Samaritan to an unknown hospital and the accidented vehicle evacuated from the road by the police to Obada Police station for further investigation.
