HR Talent Hub and DAC Consulting have stressed the need for organisations to adopt leadership-driven strategies that align people management with business objectives in order to remain competitive amid rapid changes in the world of work.

The organisations made the call ahead of the 2026 edition of the Beyond HR Conference, scheduled to hold on October 30 and 31 at The Dome, Lekki, Lagos.

With the theme, “Beyond HR: Leadership, Growth and Business Success,” the conference is expected to bring together business executives, human resource professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers and emerging professionals to examine issues surrounding leadership, innovation, organisational transformation and the future of work.

According to the organisers, businesses are increasingly confronted with the impact of artificial intelligence, evolving workforce expectations and growing pressure to deliver sustainable results, making effective leadership and strategic decision-making more critical than ever.

Speaking on the importance of the conference, Founder and Lead Consultant of HR Talent Hub, Dr. Omotola Dayo-Adedapo, said organisations can no longer afford to separate people strategy from business strategy.
