The Delta State Government has noted the complaints of some persons and organisations from the state’s oil producing communities as regards the 2016 DESOPADEC budget which was published in some national dailies.

In a press release issued in Asaba yesterday the state Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah, stated that the attention of the government has been drawn to the anomalies noticed in the budget.

The Information Commissioner urged the general public and the oil producing communities to discountenance the budget in circulation as action is being taken to address all anomalies.Mr. Ukah assured the general public and the oil producing communities that when the final draft comes out, all fears will be addressed and allayed.
