BLUETTI, the leading manufacturer of high-quality portable power stations, has donated more than a 100 BLUETTI E-40- Series Solar Home System to Yaba College of Technology, Lagos through its ‘Lighting An African Family (LAAF) CSR project’.

The LAAF project is BLUETTI’s Corporate Social Responsibility with the objective of providing solar-powered lighting solutions that are both cost-effective and environmentally friendly to underprivileged African families.

The students of the Yaba College of technology became the first beneficiaries in Nigeria.

Speaking during the donation, the representative of the Rector of Yabatech and the Director for Tetfund Centre of Excellence in Skills and Entrepreneurship & Sustainable Development, Architect Sherifdeen Ayodele expressed his delight towards BLUETTI’s donation, stating that: “We feel honoured and proud to be the first beneficiary of this project in Nigeria and we look forward to more collaborations with BLUETTI in the future.

While thanking BLUETTI for the kind gesture on behalf of the school’s bursar, Mrs. Olatoye Temilola stated that “the intervention is something that will be very useful to the students because we cannot assure them of regular power supply for 24 hours, but this donation will go a long way to help them charge their devices and have light to read thereby going along way to improve the learning of the students.
