I don’t get intimidated by pressure, says Bruna Rubio
Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I am a tv host, actress, and producer. I have been on entertainment business all my life but I am never been too much into the social media world until recently that I understood it’s very important so I really need to get verified so the audience can know this is the real me, I always have a positive message to tell and I want to make sure people know I am the real Bruna Rubio, I see people have stolen my pictures and used them to do fake profiles and I also saw other fake profiles with my name, etc …I want to make sure nobody pretends to be me out there so my account is verified. I also work on tv and started hosting a new tv show and its very important that it’s clear this is the right account for me Bruna Rubio. You can see my work on IMDb as well as you can find me on Wikipedia and many other articles. I have been a mentor for many young people with dreams of becoming an actor. I have now my own production company Goldheartproductions and I am working some new deals with Netflix. At the moment I get offers also now for Instagram and I want to get deeper into the social media using my social media to show others amazing products and things so I can motivate others the way of a better positive life.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
It is so many … I have been in the entertainment business since I was 2y doing commercials like Nestle and being on Spanish sesame street in my country Spain, I was at 18 years old on some of the most famous tv shows of that years. I moved to America at 21 and I have been in many movies and tv shows working with major people of this business. I started hosting tv shows 10 years ago and I have done hundreds of interviews to celebrities like Will I Am, Kenny G, Vin Diesel, etc… 7 years ago I also started my own production company Goldheart productions and I produced a couple of tv shows as well and a short film that was nominated in many festivals, etc … currently, I produced a featured film and we are on post-production and I just signed a deal with Netflix for a new tv series co-produced with Spain for Netflix I’m also now a judge for a music tv show that we were filming with COVID-19 happened so it will continue as soon as all this is over, this show is very inspiring because its like American idol for the Spanish market and I am the positive caring judge that give them the most positive feedback and encourage them to follow their dreams.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Keep going and believe in yourself. You have the power to spread love everywhere and when you get to that point you will achieve happiness so don’t give up on what you believe! The power is within your self.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My parents were a big part of this … I lost my parents after a horrible car accident when I was 18 years old and my other siblings were 10 and 15 and 19. This was dramatic and horrible but somehow the beauty my parents taught us growing up made us changed negative into positive. Even though losing them felt like losing your own life …we were able to live to the foolest on the name of them and me and my siblings all decided to smile for them and became the best of ourselves. We are all today happy caring and loving people that are successful in what we do.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
Because I went through so much pain with dramatic events in my life I am able to show you that life is beautiful and you need to still smile because it can always be worst … life is too short and you need to live today the happiest that you can because tomorrow is not promised to anyone. I work on tv and I am always spreading the love. On my interviews and tv shows, I am always positive and I am always part of many causes helping others. I also produced a short film for suicide awakens that is very powerful and I want to share it with social media.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Live today like is not a tomorrow.
Because I have been through so much pain I have learned that you don’t need to be mad about things that are nothing compare to losing your life.
Last year also the father of my kids got murdered…. and it been a tough year but through my stories, I help others to as I always say you can change negative into positive.
