Indigo, others shine at Edge Awards

Integrated Indigo Limited, one of the nation’s leading marketing communications consultancy firms, and its clients bagged thirteen awards across public relations, corporate communications, sustainability, reputation management, digital commerce, mobility, and corporate affairs.

Integrated Indigo received the Leadership Award in PR (Corporate), while the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Bolaji Abimbola, was honoured as the Outstanding PR Personality of the Decade. The PR campaign, ‘From Lafarge to HBM: A New Chapter,’ handled by Indigo for HBM Nigeria Plc, was adjudged PR Campaign of the Year (Corporate).

In his speech, Abimbola noted that the breadth of the recognitions demonstrate the impact of strategic communications in helping organisations strengthen their reputation, communicate their value, and engage meaningfully with stakeholders.

To him, “this is a significant recognition for Integrated Indigo and, more importantly, for the people and partnerships behind the work we do. To see our agency, our clients, and professionals across our client portfolio recognised across such a broad range of categories is a testament to the quality, creativity, and strategic thinking that go into our work. We are proud of the relationships we have built with our clients and the opportunity to support them in telling their stories, strengthening their reputations, and communicating their impact.”

The Edge Awards also recognised several executives, brands, and campaigns across the agency’s client portfolio, including HBM Nigeria, Nigerian Bottling Company, Glovo, and InDrive.

Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of HBM Nigeria, Lolu Alade-Akinyemi, received the EDGE Excellence in Sustainable Manufacturing Leadership award.

The Director of Communications, Public Affairs & Sustainable Development, Viola Graham-Douglas, and Head of Communications, Brand & Events, Ginika Frank-Durugbor, were named the Corporate Affairs Professional of the Year and the Reputation Management Professional of the Year.

The Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director at Coca-Cola HBC, Soromidayo George, was named Chief Sustainability Officer of the Year. In the same vein, Samuel Iboroma, Senior Manager, External Communications, at Nigerian Bottling Company Plc, received the Corporate Communications Professional of the Year award.

Also recognised were the Head of Corporate Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, Unilever Nigeria Plc, Zainab Obagun, as the Outstanding Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Communications Personality of the Year, and the Head of Integrated & Corporate Communications, Nigerian Breweries, Ayodele Alabi, as the Outstanding Corporate Communications Personality of the Year.

Glovo Nigeria emerged Outstanding Digital Commerce Platform of the Year, with its General Manager, Reni Onafeko, receiving the Outstanding Digital Commerce Business Personality of the Year award. inDrive was recognised as the Outstanding Mobility Company of the Decade.
