As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the African Reinsurance Corporation (ARC) at the weekend, launched ‘No Fighting, ’ a media awareness campaign aimed at educating Nigerians on the need to fully embrace insurance.

The media campaign according to Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of ARC, Ken Aghoghovbia, “is to drive consumers, as well as strengthen its position in its core markets, by sending a strong signal to its stakeholders and consumers through a distinctive new logo, which associates it with outstanding quality, trustworthiness and credibility.”

Aghoghovbia, who spoke to newsmen at the corporation office, Lagos, said his company was well positioned to guarantee that insurers would fulfil their roles in African market.

Shedding more light on the campaign, he noted, “we are providing a service to consumers, which they need. It is up to us to help them see the benefit of the service and if they do, they definitely would buy. We are doing the campaign not directly for our own benefit but for the benefit of the Nigerian insurance industry. We realise that we have not done a good job but this time, we have a strong feeling that Doyle Dane Bernbach (DDB) will do the magic to drive the awareness programme.”
