AWP Network partners with Ekiti state to support women entrepreneurs in rural areas
In line with its mission, the AWP Network will train women entrepreneurs in rural areas through the AWP Network Vendor Training Programme. The training programme, which commenced on Saturday, July 9, will support women entrepreneurs in Ekiti State, Nigeria to become qualified vendors.
These women will be given an opportunity to pitch their products to Shoprite Nigeria and other AWP Network retail partners. The six-week business intensive programme for women vendors offers them an opportunity to pitch and supply to large retailers.
A ‘first of its kind’ programme for women manufacturers and entrepreneurs in Nigeria, the AWP Network enables the participation and inclusion of women manufacturers and entrepreneurs into the corporate supply chain by helping them become qualified vendors.
