A wise saying from a wise woman goes thus: “Beauty and femininity are ageless and can’t be contrived, and glamour, although the manufacturers won’t like this, cannot be manufactured. Not real glamour; it’s based on femininity.” – Marilyn Monroe Let’s face it ladies, for the most part men are attracted to feminine women. I’m sure…

A wise saying from a wise woman goes thus: “Beauty and femininity are ageless and can’t be contrived, and glamour, although the manufacturers won’t like this, cannot be manufactured. Not real glamour; it’s based on femininity.” – Marilyn Monroe

Let’s face it ladies, for the most part men are attracted to feminine women.

I’m sure most of you have often wondered if you are feminine enough or you are constantly being put in the “friend zone” or have that one girlfriend that all the guys go for while you sit on the sidelines?

Perhaps you think you do everything right and you can’t figure out why men aren’t flocking to you. Maybe you think you’re a little heavy or not pretty enough or smart enough. Stop all that thought please.

Men are attracted to confidence and femininity. Yes, they are terrified by our softness and our ability to love, but they live for it. They need it the same way they need air and water.

There are a few simple things you can do to improve your chances with men and bring out your feminine side.
Become Comfortable With Saying “I Feel”

This is probably the most important of all of the feminine traits. Men do not feel like women. Men have a natural ability to nurture and to experience multiple emotions. As women entered the workplace, men became accustomed to masculinity and began pushing down our feminine side. We have to get back in touch with our femininity. A man does not want to compete with you.

No matter where you are or what you are doing with a man start saying, “I feel” type statements. I feel a little angry with you. I feel disconnected. I feel safe being in your arms. You get the drift.

Stop Swearing

I struggle with this one myself. Unfortunately, swearing is not very attractive coming out of a pretty mouth.
I’m not saying you can’t ever swear. Just be conscious of how often you swear around a man you are interested in, especially at first.

Don’t Try to Always Be Right

Men want to win. This is their goal in life. If you constantly contradict him or try to tell him he’s wrong he is not going to want to be with you. Having an opinion is completely acceptable but challenging him on everything is not. You may win the argument but you will lose the battle.

Needing to be right, to win and be assertive is a masculine trait. Be soft. Be breezy. Lean back and let him take control. Being right makes him wrong. What man wants to be with a woman who makes him feel like he is wrong? None.

Flirt and Flirt Some More

Whether you are on a date or in a relationship, you can always flirt. Touch his arm lightly when he talks, giggle at a joke, brush against his shoulder. Wear a skirt and soft colors. Men like skirts. Men are visual. Remind him you are a girl. Speak softly (or try anyway) and again, lean back and relax.
Stop Talking About Sports

Unless you want to be in the friend zone, knock it off. Of course you can say you enjoy watching football, but don’t go on and on about the season and your favorite player and the score of the game last week. He has buddies for this. You are not his buddy.

This isn’t to say you can’t watch the game together once you become a couple, but remember you are trying to show him your value as a woman and girlfriend/wife not as a potential friend.

Have Fun

Live in the moment. Have fun. Laugh. Stop thinking about how awesome the two of you will look on your wedding day.

Men like confidence. They like women who are present and engaged. Show interest in what he is talking about and don’t talk about yourself endlessly.

Being more feminine can sometimes take a little training and work since we have gotten away from our natural tendencies, but like anything, if you keep at it, eventually you will be drawn back to your femininity and it will be easier. Then, watch and see what happens!

To our happiness. Cheers.
