Dabira conference aims to empower women

For women to excel and triumph over real and perceived obstacles, they may need to tap into inner strength which they possess.

A conference to help them do that will hold in Lagos on September 10.

“The conference will help women discover and tap into the inner-most self, recognizing her ability, strength, and how to channel it positively,” said the organisers of the conference in a statement. “The conference women to become who they desire to be, in their profession, business, ministry and relationships.”

“However, everyone has an inner genius, an area where they are brilliant and can exhibit strength and outstanding abilities. We must learn to find strength from within,” the organisers added.

The conference in its fourth year was first held in 2013.

Expected to speak at the 2016 edition are Mfon Ekpo, Genette Howard and Nike Ogunlesi while panelists at the event would include Donna Ogunnaike, Nkechi Nngonadi, Audrey Abayomi and Yinka Enahoro.
