Childhood Influence
Looking back, I see that growing up in a small rural community at the time planted the seeds for what I do today. Growing up in a community where I saw my mates getting pregnant and dropping out of school as teenagers broke my heart so much. I remember a classmate of mine who was very intelligent but got into a relationship and later got pregnant. She was taken out of school and never returned until we graduated. It built so much burden in me, even as a teenager, and I thought to myself, “What can I do to stop this from happening to another girl?” I knew from my conversations with some of them that they lacked good advice and proper mentorship to make informed choices. I learnt that proper mentorship and guidance could go a long way to change things. Those early years taught me problem-solving, empathy, determination, storytelling, compassion, and mentorship skills.

Birth of the Young Jesus Wives Bookclub
I started the Young Jesus Wives book club because many women I have counseled in the past were struggling with handling issues in their marriages, and the advice I gave them was based on the knowledge I gained from reading various books. So, I discovered there is a lot of wisdom hidden in books, but people do not READ! I wanted a space where young women, both single and married, could access books that would help them read and gain knowledge, especially within my reach, and in turn improve their homes and create better relationships, which would directly contribute to a better society for us, since the family is the smallest unit of society. Over time, it has grown into a community of women evolving, learning, and transforming into informed women making better choices for their homes, and also a space for women to network, pray, and grow together, and it continues to remind me why I said “yes” to this vision in the first place.

Challenges Teens Face Today
Today’s teens are navigating a world that is hyperconnected, image-driven, and fast-paced, where social media often sets unrealistic standards for beauty, success, and popularity. They face the constant pressure of comparison, the fear of missing out, and exposure to harmful content often without enough safe spaces or positive role models to guide them. These pressures chip away at their confidence, influence their choices in unhealthy ways, and can distort their vision for the future. That’s why I believe we must create more mentorship opportunities, strengthen value-based education, and give teens the tools to filter what they consume so they can build a healthy sense of identity.

Message of My Books
Love Letter is a mentorship guide and a resource tool for every teenage girl navigating her teenhood. It’s a sister, and an answer to the question on every teenage girl’s heart. It’s a road map on where to turn. And I have poured my heart into that book so every girl who reads it will find herself, walk in purpose, and gain clarity. Becoming Findable tells single women that they are not left behind. They are going through the single phase to build themselves, find purpose, and heal even before love finds them. At their heart, both books are about purpose, healing, and identity, encouraging readers to become better versions of themselves.

Balancing Multiple Roles
I have learned to see these roles not as competing priorities but as different expressions of who I am. Marketing is my career, while thought leadership and authorship are my purpose and calling, and I do them hand-in-hand. I manage them by weaving my professional skills into my advocacy work, guided by faith, intentional planning, and wise delegation. It’s about staying rooted in purpose rather than just activity, so every effort, whether in business or my calling, contributes to lasting impact.

Impact Stories
One story that stays with me is about a girl I met years ago during a school mentorship program. At the time, she was struggling with peer pressure and the fear of missing out, which often pulled her away from her goals. Through that visit and our discussions, she became super-charged and determined to stay chaste, focus on her academics, and say no to negative influences. Today, she graduated from the university with distinctions and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in the UK. I’ve also had women come into my DMs from the Young Jesus Wives Book club, sharing how their marriages have improved ever since they began reading the designated books with us daily online. These moments remind me that seeds of impact, whether planted in a school hall or through a virtual book club, can grow into lifelong transformation and that fuels me to keep going.

Advice for Aspiring Authors and Advocates
First, start with the message you can’t keep to yourself, the one that burns in your heart, because that passion will carry you through the hard days of writing and advocacy. Second, be consistent in showing up for your audience, even when it feels like no one is listening, because trust and impact are built over time. Most importantly, remember that your voice matters, and the world needs your unique perspective, so don’t wait to feel ready; start now, and grow as you go.

Using Social Media for Impact
For me, social media is a powerful tool for storytelling, building trust, and creating community beyond physical borders. I focus on sharing inspiring stories, hosting live discussions, and running our virtual book club, which connects women from different parts of the world in one shared space of growth and encouragement. One example is how our daily book readings online have sparked testimonies from women whose marriages and personal lives have transformed just by engaging with the community. It showed me that with the right content and authentic connection, social media can be more than a platform it can be a global gathering place for lasting impact.
