Nollywood filmmaker, young women advocate, and philanthropist, Chiamaka Ugoo has disclosed that her zeal for advocacy is natural since she was a teenager.

Ugoo who is also a content creator and writer disclosed while speaking about how challenging is it to be a mother, filmmaker, advocate, philanthropist, and writer altogether.

In her words, “It has not been easy combining all together, but above everything, my major role is being a wonderful mother to my beautiful daughter and a great woman to my partner.

“Being an advocate for young women, I’ll say it is something that comes naturally, right from my teenage years,” she stated.

Ugoo further stated that she planned to make a lot of changes in any society she found herself in and fight for gender equality.

“I have a lot of young girls who looked up to me and love me, they would always come to me and say I like you so much and I’ll really like to be like you when I grow up, that inspires me a lot and pushes me to do great in life knowing I’ve so many young women that look up to me that I wouldn’t want to disappoint,” she disclosed.

Chiamaka Ugoo is also an author and released her book, “Helping Her Win” last year.

The book has its milieu based strongly on her personal experiences and many years of experience in the field of counseling young women to be winners.

It is a crucially important guide or rather pathways, a girl-child who seeks motivation can be motivated to become the woman she sets out to be.
